Terms of Service (Legal)

Effective Date: January 1, 2026.

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of The Stueber Brief, including all content, services, and products available through stueberbrief.com (the “Service”). The Service is owned and operated by Bill Stueber (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By subscribing to or accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not access or use the Service.

1. Description of Service

The Stueber Brief is an independent publication providing interpretive analysis of telecom, digital infrastructure, and policy-driven systems.

The Service consists of:
  • Written letters delivered via email

  • Access to an online archive of all published letters

  • Subscription management capabilities

2. Subscription Terms

We offer the following subscription options:

  • Monthly Subscription: $99 per month, billed monthly

  • Annual Subscription: $999 per year, billed annually

2.2 Billing and Payment

Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan selected). Payment is processed through our third-party payment processor. You authorize us to charge your payment method on file for all fees.

2.3 Automatic Renewal

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. Monthly subscriptions renew monthly; annual subscriptions renew annually.

2.4 Cancellation and Refunds

Monthly Subscriptions: You may cancel at any time. Your subscription will remain active through the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial months.

Annual Subscriptions: Annual subscriptions are non-refundable. You may cancel to prevent automatic renewal, but no prorated refund will be issued for the unused portion of your annual term.

2.5 Price Changes

We reserve the right to change subscription pricing at any time. Price changes will affect your current subscription term but will apply upon renewal. We will provide at least 30 days’ notice before any price increase takes effect.

3. Access and Use
3.1 Account Registration

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and maintain the accuracy of such information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3.2 License Grant

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal, non-commercial use.

3.3 Restrictions

You may not:

  • Share your account credentials with others

  • Systematically reproduce, distribute, or publicly display content from the Service

  • Scrape, data mine, or use automated tools to access the Service

  • Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the Service

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any aspect of the Service

  • Remove copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices from content term.

3.4 Sharing and Distribution

Content is licensed for individual use. Forwarding occasional letters to immediate colleagues within your organization is acceptable. Systematic redistribution, posting to internal knowledge bases, public forums, or sharing outside your organization without permission is prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property
4.1 Ownership

All content, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Bill Stueber or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

4.2 Copyright

All letters, analysis, and written content published through the Service are copyrighted works. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or use of copyrighted material may result in civil and criminal penalties.

5. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
5.1 No Investment Advice

The Stueber Brief provides interpretive analysis and commentary, not investment advice, financial advice, or recommendations to purchase or sell securities. Content is for informational and educational purposes only.

  • You acknowledge that:

8.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Grounds for termination may include:

  • Violation of these Terms

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity

  • Abuse of the Service or harm to other users

  • Non-payment

8.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the Service will immediately cease. You will lose access to the archive and will no longer receive letters. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including intellectual property provisions, disclaimers, and limitations of liability.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on our website with a new Effective Date

  • Sending an email to your registered email address

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to modified Terms, you must cancel your subscription.

11. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
